Healthy Gluten Free Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

For the inside:

4 medium size gala or honey crisp apples - sliced thin with skin on.

3 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 cup Bob's Red Mill Paleo Flour

1/4 cup raw sugar or coconut sugar

For the topping:

1 cup of gluten free oats

1 cup of chopped walnuts

1/2 cup Bob's Red Mill Paleo Flour

1/2 cup of grass fed sea salt butter ( I love Vital Farms) melted

1/4 raw sugar or coconut sugar

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit 

Combine the inside ingredients together in a large bowl (taste for sweetness). Add a bit more sugar or eliminate some based on your preference. 

Place mixture in a round ceramic baking dish. Casserole dish would work too.

Combine topping ingredients together in a large bowl. Again, add or eliminate sugar based on taste.

Spread evenly over apple mixture.

Cook for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and you can see the apples bubbling. Serve warm, room temp or cold. It will stay fresh for about 3 days in your fridge.
